Reception

Tina and Eddie purchased the Inn in November 2004. First on our list was to create a three bedroom apartment to accommodate our family. Secondly, the roofline had suffered from years of neglect and needed an overhaul.  The first and second floors which are mainly for our guests needed quite a bit of TLC. Repairing, redecorating and refurnishing the Parlors, Dining Room, and bedrooms was quite an effort but nevertheless fun.  All of these rooms are now available for relaxation and pondering the history of this great city and this magnificent mansion.  Not only is The High Street Inn available for overnight stays but also for special occasions including but not limited to anniversaries, birthdays, bridal/baby showers, small company dinners/meetings, and military promotional events.  info@thehighstreetinn.com

The Foyer

We have five bedrooms available at this time. The Sycamore Suite, The BollingBrook, The Appomattox, The Mahone Chamberlin and the Washington Suite.  All are individually decorated with private baths, King/Queen Beds, A/C and cable TV.  The Blandford,  a large bedroom under the mansion's turret, is now available. All of the rooms are named after streets, historic locations and individuals that have had a major influence on the City of Petersburg.  See our Rooms Tab for details
